PUBLIC-IMPACT TRANSPARENCY

Make the commitment measurable before making the claim.

Art of Survival intends to support responsible public-impact work. No fixed share of sales, tax-deductible donation, or guaranteed GVRP contribution is currently represented as active.

THE STANDARD

A future sales-linked pledge needs an auditable policy.

Before product pages or campaigns say that purchases fund violence-prevention work, the company must define the amount, recipient, accounting method, timing, exclusions, and reporting process.

01

Define the commitment

A fixed percentage, fixed amount, campaign cap, or discretionary contribution must be stated precisely.

02

Define the money

Gross revenue, net revenue, or profit are different bases. Refunds, discounts, taxes, shipping, and chargebacks must be handled explicitly.

03

Define the recipient

The operating entity, project, or qualified nonprofit must be named accurately without implying charitable or tax-exempt status that does not exist.

04

Report the result

Publish the period, calculation, amount committed, amount transferred, and use—subject to privacy and legal limits.

CURRENT POSITION

Support the work because the product has value—not because of an undefined promise.

Store purchases are commercial transactions. They are not currently represented as donations, tax deductible, or guaranteed to produce a specified contribution to GVRP. Prospective sponsors and professional volunteers can use the collaboration intake to discuss separately documented support.
